The Pelican Stainless Steel Sink is manufactured using heavy duty 16 or 18 Gauge 304 Series stainless steel. 304 Series is a surgical grade stainless steel, meaning it is nonporous, rust free, and extremely durable. Nonporous sinks are antibacterial and easy to clean as there are no pores for the dirt and germs to get trapped in. Our 304 Stainless Steel has a chromium to nickel ratio of 18:10, making this sink one of the best available for residential and commercial installations. The elegant satin brushed finish creates an enduring luster and is designed to conceal small scratches that occur during normal usage. The underside of the sink has our special Pelican Protect Coating applied, as well as sound deadening pads. This helps conceal sounds and prevents condensation from forming underneath. The Pelican Signature Series Sinks are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty as long as the original purchaser owns the home it is installed in.
